This year I got an opportunity for hosting the 5th International Conference of Geriatric Orthopedic Society of India, Chandigarh known as the Beautiful City.

In this conference, the best of International, National and Local Orthopaedics luminaries, who are well known figures in the treatment of geriatric patients, will be participating and a wide range of topics, will be discussed in depth.
I feel that most of the practising fellow orthopaedic surgeons across the country and globe are facing the dilemma of treating the geriatric orthopaedic patient on a daily basis. There is lot of work for all of us and together we can make a positive difference to our country and mankind at large. Friends most of the orthopaedic surgeons in India will also come under the umbrella in the near future, hence it is the right time that we position our selves to handle these issues.
